Thinktank is a film and video production company which works with A-list celebrities and some of the world's most recognised brands. Yet we've never forgotten our roots or raison d'être.

The video company emerged organically from our marketing-agency roots, when clients began to ask if we could turn their messages into moving image, through animations and film.

By then, our team had already won broadcast TV awards, Science & Industry awards for script-writing and UK regional awards for inspirational tourism films.

Whilst other video production companies were busy using freelance crews and scriptwriters, thinktank worked in-house. Making sure its creative and video production teams understood the full brief from the start. In-house means that creativity flourishes whilst our relationship grows with you. Plus, everything is confidential. We were producing interactive DVDs and created database-driven 3-D animations in 1997. Gaining recognition through industry awards for innovation. Long before many organisations even had a website.

Today we employ the same philosophies - the very latest production technologies with highly skilled film crews and editors. Making corporate video, social media content TV ads and documentary productions, from the heart of Manchester’s thriving film community, @MediaCityUK.
